The Sustainable Leadership
Sustainability has become something we all must relate to. Both public and private organizations are seeking employees who can contribute to green and sustainable value creation. The starting point for creating local sustainable change is to develop individuals who dare to take leadership responsibility for creating, managing, and implementing. Leadership in this context is closely related to self-leadership, initiative, and the ability to act collectively in a given context.
In the course, you can learn:
• To find your own understanding of the meaning of sustainability in your context, based on current definitions and understandings of sustainability.
• How entrepreneurial thinking can be used as both an analytical tool and framework, such as a driving force for new sustainable initiatives and ways to organize and structure value-creating elements.
• To lead and organize sustainable processes, focusing on problem understanding, method, critical, and creative thinking.
• To understand and manage dilemmas that arise when there is a need to change behavior and ways of thinking at the individual, group, and organizational levels, based on leadership theories and associated paradoxes.
The above academic elements can be flexibly combined according to preferences and needs. The course can be conducted as a one-day workshop or as a longer program. All programs can be conducted in a mix of physical attendance and online activities.
